I ask Vinay about his courtship and he goes on to recall some amazing memories before wedding. He says, "I always wanted a courtship before marriage to know the person I was committing to. Due to distance, we met only once but that one day was enough for us. High up on the hills with the warmth of the sun touching our skin, wind blowing her beautiful hair, our eyes spoke a lot that day. ” Manisha, full of enthusiasm, adds, “We both met in Rajasthan. I was excited to meet him. I made vegetable parathas for him and the moment he took his first bite, his expressions were so cute while he was eating them. He really liked them and that made me so happy.” Aww that’s sweet!

On asking about their wedding, Vinay says, “We both wanted our wedding to happen with close friends and family around. We had only 35 people and it was a simple yet fun wedding.” Manisha, had something to say, “Before our wedding, Vinay called my dad and asked him permission to take me for lehenga shopping. We both went to Delhi and he got me one of the most beautiful lehengas. His happiness while shopping for me, made me to fall for him more.” Vinay jumps into the conversation, “She looked so beautiful. I was love struck when I saw her wearing those beautiful bridal dresses.” Aww!

Every couple has a different experience of their life after marriage, and when I pose this question to this couple, Manisha says, "Life after marriage is amazing. I am so lucky to have found Vinay. I have someone beside me always. I get all the pampering and love at home. Evenings are my favorite. When Vinay gets back from work early, we go for a walk to see the sunset or binge on some delicious food. It's amazing.” Along with their common interest in food, they are travel freaks. They have toured to several places in India.

Vinay has a message for youngsters about marriage. He says, "It's important to think well before making a choice. Marriage is a lifetime commitment but a beautiful journey of love and happiness."
