On asking Ankit about their first meet, he goes on to narrate, “I am from Ghaziabad and I worked in Delhi, and Parul is from Amritsar and the journey when I was going to meet her was exciting. As we had already connected well on calls and texts I was super excited to see her in person. On a beautiful morning in Amritsar with a lot of excitement we decided to meet at a cafe. She got down from her car and I was dumbstruck by her beauty. We spent hours together there and I was so sure that she is the one. Her views about life and family values were quite impressive & we matched in many ways. We both are crazy movie buffs and we both give first preference to our families and this sort of turned out to be the basis on which we clicked. I had already fallen in love with her and I think she did too. We decided to go to her house and her parents liked me so much that we had our roka on the same day.” Woah! That's interesting! It is rightly said 'when you are meant to be together, you just need a moment to find out.'

After knowing about their really interesting first meet, I wanted to know if they had a proposal to which Ankit laughs and says, “The same day I proposed to her. We had gone for dinner and I wanted my proposal to be different. Even before reaching the place I knew what I wanted to give her and I knew she would love it.” Out of curiosity I ask Ankit what it was? “I made a ring with a wire and after dinner I went down on my knee and proposed to her with it. She was in tears. We had our first hug as a couple and it was just perfect.” How romantic!

Any moment when you were really thankful to Parul? “Yes! Many times. 10 days after our roka I left my job but Parul stood strong with me. She believed in me and supported me always. Her constant motivation and support has made me the person I am today. She is my support system and I am forever thankful to her.” How cute!
