1. I am a free member. How to contact other members?

Being a free member, you can contact your prospects through ‘Express Interest’. When you like a member’s profile, just click on ‘Express Interest’. Your prospect will receive a notification that you have liked his/her profile.

Become a paid member to send personalised messages and view verified phone numbers.

2. I am a Paid member. How to contact other members?

Being a paid member, you can send personalised messages to your prospects. You can also send SMSes. Further, you can view your prospects’ phone numbers and contact them directly. The number of phone numbers and SMSes, depend upon the paid package you have opted for.

3. How to delete my profile?

To delete your profile, click on ‘Profile’ in the top bar. You can then select ‘Delete Profile’.

If you do not want to delete it, you can also temporarily deactivate your profile. On deactivation, your profile will be hidden from our members and you will not be able to contact any member until you activate it. Click here to deactivate your profile.

4. How do I login?

In order to login, first register your details on BharatMatrimony. Registration is FREE. Once the registration is complete, you will receive your Matrimony ID and Password in your e-mail address. You can log in to your account with your Matrimony ID, E-mail ID or Mobile number. Login to my account

5. I am not getting the right matches. Why?

If you are not getting your desired matches, revise your Partner Preferences. Give your desired expectations while filling in ‘Partner Preferences’. You can mention the preferred age, height, physical status, eating habits, drinking habits, etc. Edit my Partner Preference

You can also set filters in your profile. Click on ‘Profile’ in the top bar, then select ‘Edit Settings’. With ‘Manage Contact Filters’, you can set your filters. Contacts from members who do not match your contact filter settings will be stored in your ‘Filtered Messages or Interests’ folder in ‘My Home’. Manage my Contact Filters

6. How do I verify my phone number?

It is mandatory to verify your mobile number to activate your profile. You can verify either through SMS or through our missed call service. Click here to verify your number.

7. How to view the phone number/contact details of other members?

On your prospect’s profile, you can find a link ‘View mobile number/send SMS’. Only paid members have the privilege of viewing the contact details of other members.

Become a paid member to view the contact details of your prospects.

8. How can I edit my profile?

Click on ‘Profile’ in the top bar and then select ‘Edit Profile’. Once you select ‘Edit Profile’, you can modify all your details, including educational details, professional details, family details, hobbies & interests, partner preferences and many more. Edit my profile

9. How to validate my photo/horoscope?

Once you upload your photo or horoscope, it is sent for validation. We have an express validation, thus, the photo or horoscope is validated within one hour of uploading/editing. As soon as your photo or horoscope is validated, it will be updated in your profile.

However, if you want to validate your photo or horoscope immediately, please submit your Matrimony ID/Mobile Number/E-mail ID below.
